Shea Butter

A skin super food that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree and that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It offers UV protection (it is SPF ~6) and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production. Shea butter has been used in Africa and other countries for years to improve skin and hair.  The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in Shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It is often used to remedy dry skin and to help protect the skin’s natural oils.

 

Mango Butter

Extracted from the de-shelled fruit kernel of the mango tree, rich in oleic acid and stearic acid.  These fatty acids have natural emollient properties, wound healing and regenerative activity, that soften and soothe the skin and hair.  It is high in antioxidants, Vitamins A, C and E, and anti-aging. Triterpenes present in mango butter, help heal and prevent aging of the skin, reduces the look of lines and wrinkles and helps keep your skin healthy.  Helps restore the skins protective barrier, replaces lost moisture, easily absorbed, antiseptic, healing and soothing, repairs dry skin. Mango has been traditionally used in the rain forests and tropics for its skin softening, soothing, moisturizing and protective properties and to restore flexibility and reduce degeneration of skin cells.

 

It offers protective effects against UV radiation and helps with rashes, insect bites, eczema and skin irritations. Mango butter helps heal and protect the skin from damage caused by sunburn and frostbite.  

 

Kokum Butter

Kokum is mostly grown in the western ghat region of India which is known as the Konkan Region. The butter extracted from the fruit kernels is rich in antioxidants, vitamin E, citric acid and may essential fatty acids.​

May prevent drying out of the skin and development of wrinkles and reduces degeneration of skin cells.  It reduces skin inflammation and helps in curing several skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis. Keep the skin moist and wrinkle free.

 

Illipe Butter

Illipe nut butter is extracted from the nuts of the Shorea stenoptera, a tropical tree. In terms of texture, the Illipe Butter is very similar in nature to cocoa butter, but has a relatively higher melting point.

Coconut Oil

A powerful moisturizer that is beneficial to restoring dry or flaking skin. Unlike your average moisturizer that contains a lot of water and likely synthetic ingredients, coconut oil helps to strengthen skin tissue more deeply and eliminate dead skin cells while absorbing quickly into your skin.
 

Helps to delay the occurrence of wrinkles because it contains antioxidant Vitamin E, known to protect skin cells from damage over time. The Vitamin E found in coconut oil soothes eczema, sunburn and psoriasis, and its antiviral and anti-fungal benefits even help to treat bug bites.

Coconut oil contains 3 fatty acids: capric acid, lauric acid and caprylic acid. Each of these acids kill candida, a common cause of fungal infection on your skin.

Avocado Oil

An all-natural, nutrient-rich, food grade vegetable oil. heavy in texture, Avocado Oil increases epidermal elasticity, while thoroughly moisturizing and softening stubborn, dry or cracked skin.

Almond Oil

All-natural oil derived from pressed almonds, dating  back to Biblical times, when they were mixed with fragrant herbs to create traditional ointments.   Light, easy-to-absorb oil glides over the skin and penetrates deeply, softening the surface and bringing amino acids and vitamins to deeper layers, while helping other oils it is mixed with to penetrate more deeply.

Vegetable Glycerin Oil

An organic compound composed of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen. It’s a thick (viscous), colorless and odorless liquid. It’s water-soluble, sweet to taste and is non-toxic too.   An outstanding moisturizer and skin cleanser that also provides softening and lubricating benefits.

Grape Seed 

Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and anti-oxidant properties.  Along with the high amounts of omega chain fatty acids and a vitamin E contained, have made it a popular topical treatment for skin.  Treats acne outbreaks and can protect your skin from sun damage.

Apricot 

Rich in Vitamin K, known to reduce dark circles.  Also, contains vitamin E and omega 6 fatty acids, nourishes skin deeply, allowing the nutrients to penetrate reaching the blood cells.  It has nourishing properties and anti-inflammatory effect to soothe eczema.
